(((echo))) is a platform for discussion + a means to present work from local artists, made in response to the exhibitions at Dundee Contemporary Arts.

As a gallery assistant within the DCA, my time spent with the works in the galleries began to feed into my own practise; complementing the styles of the exhibition with a phrasing of my own.

I've been invited to present at two (((echo))) events to date. Firstly for the GENERATION show 'Continue Without Losing Consciousness' ; a group show with Rob Churm, Raydale Dower and Tony Swain. + Secondly Heather Phillipson's exhibition 'sub-fusc, love-feast'.

On both occasions, new works were created; both utilising mediums central to my practise, but created with reference + in tonal consideration to the works displayed in the galleries.
